Second partners' project meeting (Berlin)
On the 27th of November 2009 the partners of Euronet 50/50 met again to discuss the progress of the project and to plan new activities.
The German partner, UFU, presented the 50/50 methodology to implement in the schools with the aim to save energy. This methodology is based on 9 steps that will be implemented in the schools participating in the project during 2 years (2010 and 2011). UFU also presented the main features of the educational material that the project will give to the schools to help them implementing the 50/50.
The partners explained how the selection of schools to take part in the project is being done in their countries and how they plan to implement the 50/50. As a first step each partner celebrates a workshop with key actors to analyse with experts how the 50/50 can be developed in the country. One of the first actions to undertake in the schools is an energy audit, this is why ALESA started to prepare a proposal to develop these audits taking into account the characteristics of every country.
Communication and management of the project were also important issues discussed during the meeting. A communication plan and management guidelines have been produced to help on these tasks.
This meeting was celebrated together with the 50/50 conference of the project.
