Euronet 50/50 Conference in Berlin

A project conference focused on 50/50 methodology and best experiences was celebrated on 26th of November 2009 in Berlin.

On the morning, there was a visit to the school Grundschule im Grünen that was very useful to better understand the implementation of the 50/50 project. It was possible to learn the point of view of the headmaster and teachers but also the direct experiences and opinions of pupils from primary and secondary school. It was also possible to visit the school buildings. Overall, it allowed the partners of Euronet 50/50 to better learn about the requirements and characteristics of 50/50 implementation.

The session on the afternoon focused on the management and methodology of a 50/50 project with a film on how to start a 50/50-Project and speeches from UFU members that are directly involved in this kind of projects. There were also speeches from representatives of the city of Berlin and the District administration of Lichtenberg that explained their experience and role with 50/50.

All the activities carried out during the day were very valuable to improve knowledge on 50/50 and will certainly be a reference to better implement the Euronet 50/50 project.
