50/50 Network launch

On the 21st of May 2010 the Euronet 50/50 project celebrated the launch of the 50/50 Network.

Firstly, there was a press conference to officially launch the Euronet 50/50 European network. The Local Agency for Energy and Environment of the province of Chieti and the mayor of Lanciano as hosts of the event presented the project, the Barcelona Provincial Council and the Prefecture of Heraklion presented the 50/50 network.

The press conference was followed by a public event for the students of schools of Lanciano involved in the project. Ideas and questions from students of schools of Catalonia that are also participating in Euronet 50/50 were presented to the Italian students with different videos. The German partner UFU explained the 50/50 methodology and showed the experience of German schools. Finally the students could ask questions to the Euronet 50/50 partners and they were invited by ALESA to take a strong commitment in the development of the 50/50 in their schools.
